Dry Drawing Lubricants

A dry drawing lubricant can be based on sodium soap, calcium soap, or a mix.The lubricants have different plastified areas and softening points, which are important for different drawing applications.

Wet Drawing Lubricants

These are based mostly on vegetable oils and fats which are saponified and emulsified. The main application of wet lubricants are fine wire drawing and bright wire surfaces

Coating Agents

A coating is mainly a powder which has to be dissolved in water at approx. 80-90°C. The coating functions as a layer that stays between wire and die to maintain roughness consistency for drawing.
